Punta Cana -Preclearance coming soon!

The Punta Cana airport is rolling out Preclearance later this year for all U.S. travelers, who will get to clear U.S. Customs and Border Protection on the ground in the Dominican Republic before boarding their flights back to the U.S. The Preclearance program includes immigration processing, customs, and agriculture inspections.

I've always loved having the Preclearance in Aruba. It saves time on your return to the US and makes it a lot easier if you have a connection. It will be great to have it in Punta Cana!

And...they are also getting a swimming pool. I'm way more excited about the Preclearance, but hey that's kind of cool too.
